Maud Hart Lovelace Book Award, March 1–March 22
Kids in grades 3-8 can vote for their favorite book between March 1 and March 22 at the library. You must read at least three nominated titles to be eligible to vote!

Family Storytime
Mondays, Feb. 25, March 4 - May 20, 10:30 a.m.
For children age 2 and up. Share books, stories, rhymes, music, and movement with your children.

Celebremos El día de los niños/El día de los libros: haciendo libros con la familia/Celebrate Children's Day/Book Day: Bookmaking for Families
Saturday, April 20, 2–4 p.m.
Location: Bloomington Theatre and Art Center (BTAC - in the Bloomington Civic Building), 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington
Learn how to make handmade books from BTAC artists. Families will make an accordion book and a pop-up book. Drawing, collage, paper crafting and mixed-media techniques will be used. Participants will be asked to leave one book with BTAC to be displayed at local libraries including Oxboro, Penn Lake, Southdale and Augsburg Park.

Saturday, April 27, 1 p.m., For families. , Celebrate this annual day of connecting children to the love of books and reading and enjoy an authentic Aztec ceremonial dance performance by Mexican dance group KetzalCoatlicue.
