Maud Hart Lovelace Book Award, March 1–March 22
Kids in grades 3-8 can vote for their favorite book between March 1 and March 22 at the library. You must read at least three nominated titles to be eligible to vote!


Family Storytime

Baby Storytime

For children from birth to 24 months. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses with books and music. Build brain power. 



Homework Hub

Wednesdays, Feb. 20, 27, 3:30 –6 p.m.

Free in-person tutoring for K-12 students. No advance sign-up needed.

Juguemos Juntos/Lets Play Together
Wednesdays, Jan. 16–Feb. 27, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
For families. Trae a tus niños a jugar y convive con otros padres en la Biblioteca Nokomis. ¡Se van a divertir y al mismo tiempo tus hijos se estarán preparando para el kínder! Una vez al mes tendremos eventos especiales, con cuentos, canciones y más .
Bring your kids to play and connect with other parents at Nokomis Library. While having fun, your kids will be getting ready for kindergarten. Once each month we'll have special events, with stories, songs and more.

Friday Night Video Gaming

For teens. Join fellow game enthusiasts for Xbox 360 gaming every Friday. Games will include Halo, Games of War 3 and more. Game suggestions welcome. Free and open to anyone 16 and over or with parental consent.

Family LEGO® Building Frenzy

Saturday, May 4, 3–6 p.m.

For families. Bring the whole family and build with LEGOS! Each time we'll have a theme and we'll see where your creativity takes you. We'll have LEGOS and DUPLOS, so all ages are welcome.
