Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix 2/3 cup sugar and lavender in food processor. Sift through strainer into medium bowl to remove any large pieces of lavender. Whisk in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until well-blended. In a small bowl, whisk together milk and lemon juice. In another bowl, lightly beat egg; whisk in melted butter, sour cream and milk mixture. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Stir until just blended. Place in medium-sized loaf pan and bake 40-45 minutes until fork or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6-8.
