S is for Straw Bale Gardening

Yesterday I set up 10 bales of straw for my first ever straw bale garden thanks to local landscaper and pictured gardener extraordinaire Kate Clarity at Walnuts n Pears! She had a local farmer deliver 120 bales of straw her home yesterday and let us local urban gardeners in on the action. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
