Making New Year's Resolutions as a Family

World's best daycare provider just posted this article. I'll tell you what, we had a family meeting and this is exactly how we looked! Fire roaring in the background, smiles all around, focus....not! But we did meet as a family and resolved to cut back on screen time and spend more time together doing family things. We then broke into a National Geographic 1000 piece puzzle and annoyed the heck out of each other doing it our own ways. I'm very linear and started flipping the pieces over and setting aside the straight-edged pieces. My genius husband (I say that with no jest) began linking pieces together..I have no idea how he did that so early in the game. Our 10 year-old daughter followed in my tracks and began grouping the edged pieces by color and our 4-year-old daughter...well, some kinds of help are the kind of help we all could do without.
