Dr. Kathleen E. Allen has been researching and consulting in the field of organizational development for 40 over years. She is the author of Leading from the Roots: Nature-Inspired Leadership Lessons for Today's World and will be reading excerpts and telling stories from her book at Magers and Quinn on Wednesday, September 5 at 7:00 PM.

I had the privilege of working for Dr. Allen as her student assistant at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota in the early 1990s. I recently reconnected with her and conducted this interview:
